El mendocino Julián Santero estará en la edición N°60 de las 24hs de Daytona de IMSA. El campeón de la Clase 3 del Turismo Nacional tendrá una nueva experiencia en esta mítica competencia en los Estados Unidos.
El Volador estará participando en la divisional Michelin Pilot Challenge, con un Toyota GR Supra GT4 en la división Gran Sport y que cuenta con el asesoramiento del equipo TGR Riley Motorsport. El argentino ya había estado en la edición 2021 con este mismo equipo, aunque ésta vez estará acompañado por el dominicano Alfredo Najri y el brasileño Thiago Camilo, quien habitualmente compite en el Stock Car.
Este viernes tendrá el primer contacto con el vehículo y será uno de los cuatro argentinos presentes. Ya que José María López estará en la categoría mayor con un Cadillac del equipo Action Express Racing, Luis Pérez Companc hará su debut con una Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 del equipo AF Corse, en la división GTD Pro-Am y Roy Block competirá con un Alfa Romeo Giuletta Veloce bajo la reglamentación TCR, con la escuadra KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering.
