La selección de Chile recibirá a su par de Brasil este jueves, en un duelo de necesitados, por la novena fecha de las Eliminatorias Sudamericanas para el Mundial 2026 de Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. Este encuentro se disputará a partir de las 21:00 en el Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, donde se espera una gran afluencia de público en busca de una victoria vital.
La Roja, bajo la dirección del argentino Ricardo Gareca, ha tenido un comienzo de Eliminatorias decepcionante, ocupando actualmente la novena posición con solo cinco puntos.
